Ramin Razani creates origami-inspired models with exceptional originality. With the techniques of folding and cutting, Razani has combined the elements of light and handcrafting which bring to life his geometrically abstract and architecturally figurative creations that are so inspired and refined.
As an active participant in the world of origami, Ramin Razani ensures this experience is embedded within his designs; transcending the figurative aspect in order to examine and enhance the mathematic and geometric essence of form. His origami becomes a powerful instrument of transformation, moving from 2D to 3D creation using the support of a simple material such as paper. The movement from paper to polypropylene and glass is not an encumbrance for Razani.
The first Collection, Zzzoolight, is an assortment of opalescent animals. The following collection, Miformi, consists of lamps able to transform into various different shapes and forms.
